Ryan began serving on staff part time working with youth at Trinity in 1998 while a student at the University of Oklahoma. In 2000, he came on staff full-time working with youth and college students. Over the years, Ryan has served Trinity working with students, discipleship ministry, membership, Wednesday night adult Bible study, and campus group ministry. He has also developed the Academy and the Isaachar Project, ministries that combine theology, apologetics, and worldview to help engage the culture. Since becoming the Associate Pastor he also does most of the preaching in Brother Ronnie's absence.

Ryan has been married to Kara, who serves as Trinity's preschool director and in many other areas of the church, since 2000 and they have 4 children, Cooper, Marin, Maddy, and Malia.
