What is TEC?
The Trinity Equipping Center (TEC) exists to provide specific, multi-level training to enable believers to fulfill God’s mission for their lives. This is accomplished by equipping believers to know God more fully (Phil 3:10), to biblically equip other believers (Matt 28:19-20), and to engage the culture (Matt 5:16).
Each semester we offer TEC courses in the following subjects:
Theology, Apologetics / Worldview, Evangelism, Ministry, Discovering Trinity, Family, Spiritual Life.
TEC classes generally meet on Sunday nights at Trinity from 5:00–6:00pm or Wednesday nights from 6:00–7:00pm.
Current TEC Classes
Discovering Trinity 201, Discovering Spiritual Maturity (FH 1) at 5pm: This class is encouraged for all members and is required for any member who serves and leads in any capacity at Trinity. It will cover habits essential for spiritual growth.
Forensic Faith (FH 6-7) at 5pm: When police officers become detectives, they learn a set of disciplines, principles and philosophies that eventually change the way they see the world, both on and off duty. In essence, investigative habits become a way of life, changing the very nature of the way they experience and understand truth and the way they communicate this truth to others. Forensic Faith shares Cold Case disciplines and practices with followers of Jesus in order to encourage them to develop a more integrated, robust, certain, and defensible faith. J. Warner has served as both a youth and lead pastor and has seen the importance of 'certainty'. When young and old alike are uncertain, they succumb to the doubts and challenges they face in life. Many leave the faith. Forensic Faith will help followers of Jesus to embrace the disciplines and practices of detectives so they will have the certainty required to live a passionate and engaged Christian life.
Manly Men (Meets at Michelangelo’s from 4:45-5:45, Sundays): Continuation of TEC class from Fall, 2017. Contact Chris Haynes for more information: email@example.com.
The Measure of a Man, Jan. 21—Feb. 18 - Choir room, led by Randy Presley: True masculinity is not measured by the strength of a man, but by these twenty biblical guidelines drawn from the Apostle Paul's letters to his young protégés Timothy and Titus. Inspiring, encouraging, and practical, this book shows men how they can reach God's standards as fathers, husbands, and mentors to other men.
The Spirit-Filled Life, Jan. 28 & Feb. 4 - FH 3, led by Ronnie Rogers: This class will explain what the Bible means by the command “be filled with the Spirit.” We will also see the evidences and benefits of living the Holy Spirit-filled life.
