‘The Academy’

The goal of The Academy is to provide intense and specific training for people in or preparing for seminary, missions, or staff ministry

Pre-Req’s:

1. Committed Believer

2. Active in Trinity or another local church

3. Application (or invitation)

4. Interview

5. References (at least one pastoral)

6. One year commitment

When:

Generally following the school year except for special summer training
opportunities

Requirements:

1. 15 -25 hours per week commitment to the program (this would include
CG and worship)

2. Employment that fits this schedule and other requirements

3. Participation in Men’s Fraternity/Women’s Ministry

4. Involvement in ministry and life of Trinity

5. Monthly training seminars

6. Weekly contact with assigned staff or elder for evaluation and

accountability

7. TEC class

8. August Orientation

Corresponding with monthly reading topics

October – Church History

November – Baptist Theology

December – Apologetics

December – Theology presentations

January – Challenges to the Church

February – Science and Faith

March – Missions and Evangelism
